First time we went to CSB the food was excellent. We have been back twice since and the second time it was average, the burger buns were tiptop supermarket buns which felt like they were 3 days old. Third time we though we would give it the benefit of the doubt. . . . we both had burgers again and sadly they were made using a tip top bun with minimal ingredients once again. Similar to something you could put together at home but double the price. I tried to order the skillet cookie for dessert but was told they had run out.
Not happy at all! To be treated the way we have been treated means we will NEVER be dining here again. My partner got terrible food poisoning after eating there and when I rang to inform the owner, he denied any responsibility and tried to say it came from somewhere else. He refused any sort of compensation and hung up on me when I rightfully became very upset with his offensive attitude. How can any owner/operator ever think that this is okay? It is a real pity because we have always had such a lovely time there over the years; never a problem. It makes me think they’ve changed owners?
