Absolutely blown away. Best Indian food we have eaten in New Zealand. Everything we ordered from the entrees to the main packed a punch of spices and flavour. Would go back to Rotorua just to come back and eat at this place again.
We went to this place on first day as it was close to the hotel. But the food was sooooooooo yummmm. We really loved it. As someone who’s generally very fussy when it comes to trying out new restaurants as I like what I like, Ambience was a pleasant surprise. Great food (onion bhaji entree – MASSIVE!! Couldn’t get over it; I was in heaven, generous butter chicken mains with a not-too-filling plain naan), fantastic service, enjoyable experience overall and we left feeling full – and I’m a big eater.Ambience has become my Rotorua-holiday restaurant of choice, would recommend to everyone.
Bini is a great host, is always accommodating to my request for the hottest of Indian meals. My family loves the food that comes from here. Would love to find the time to do cooking lessons with him. I have had the opportunity to try some dishes that weren’t on the menu and they were a treat. Keep up the good work.
Excellent, delicious, well-measured food, and superb service. Décor is a bit tatty, but don’t let that put you off.
