My son and I had heard positive things about this Restaurant that is situated in very peaceful surrounds. Its just of the beating track so lots of free parking. We were greeted warmly, taken to our table with very comfortable leather seats. Lovely, faultless service by a very charming young lady. Our meal was just what we had heard about there food, it was well worth our lunch time visit and with out hesitation we will return. Lots of yummy food and at very good prices. highly recommended. Thank you Lava East Omokoroa.
We have literally just arrived home after having the most shocking buffet of our lives! Keep Away From The Prawns!!!Pitiful dessert, pitiful salad, I can’t believe my girlfriend took me there. No peowpeow for her tonite!!!
really enjoy this restaurant every time we go and we have been going since the beginning. Excellent food and service and good advice as to what is good!the prices are reasonable too!
Great place ,the whole company loved it still going back all of us.
Excellent food, friendly service and a very extensive menu. We were very pleased to find Malaysian dishes on the menu, which we could not find in any other Tauranga restaurant. Although there are a number of Thai establishments in Tauranga city, it makes the drive out of town well worth while to have something different.
It makes a change to find a restaurant in & around Tauranga which conscientiously tries to deliver a pleasant dining experience and not expensively priced, but a very wide variety of options from their Malaysian and Asian-fusion menus. Courteous, friendly service from the owner/manager who has been in attendance on all of the three occasions we have dined there. Herb/spice intensities to a level of your choice and not over westernised. Feel sure they would do better in the city but hope they can endure the slowness of country patronage for our own sake. No hesitation going back again and again to this restaurant. Can’t think of another Tauranga restaurant this would apply to.
