Caf Babette has a special flair with a variety of offerings including vegetarian that clearly demonstrates Chef Pauls selection of fresh ingredients and attention to detail in the recipe. Babette welcomes large groups and families in a relaxed atmosphere that encourages good conversation and allows a good energy to flow. The staff is knowledgeable, efficient and friendly, and the dcor is clean and contemporary. It is a great place to sit outside in the sun under the umbrellas and read the daily paper provided. Only food made from scratch on the premises from fresh ingredients is served. The variety of cookies and cakes are all baked fresh daily and sell out quickly.Caf Babette aims to raise the bar on other choices offered around the Mount by focussing on a variety of flavours and keeping it fresh and interesting. For the last couple of years we have joined another couple every Sunday for breakfast at Babette. The food is consistently excellent and the staff (they have very low staff turnover) are fantastic. We will be back on Sunday.
