Excellent service, lovely atmosphere, and perfectly prepared meals. My partner and I had an impromptu Valentine’s Day dinner here whilst travelling in NZ. Staff were very friendly, helpful, and attentive. The menu has some really interesting and unique flavour blends that we had not experienced before. We really enjoyed trying some new dishes. Great portions and fresh seafood. The mussels were to die for. We would come back just for those, although we loved the food. We would definitely dine here again!
We looked at previous reviews, some were negative. We came to the conclusion, try and judge for ourselves.Last nights meal, service and ambiance was fantastic. The restaurant setting was very Italian, music Italian background and the service was prompt even though they were busy. The meal we had was a Marsala Veal dish and a traditional Salmon and mushroom pasta. Both were Buonissimo (very good), full of flavour and cooked really well. We will be back.
Went here for a date, really happy with the overall experience. Food was received timely, plated well and tasted great. I stayed for dessert and service was good all the way through.
On holiday from Auckland & went here last Thursday. Had been before some 2 or 3 years ago. We were not disappointed & thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Highly recommended.

Wow great gnocchi in a rich tomato sauce. Will be going back. We had a treat at the end of our evening. Nocello a walnut liqueur. Dessert in a glassUpdate July 2015Food was awful. Wont be back. Italian my left foot! I can do better at home with packet italian from the supermarket. Gnocchi was rubbery and tasteless this time.
Upon entering restaurant the temperature was cold so kept coat on thru out the meal. Pizza arrived (medium) and not really value for money as four pieces later it was gone it was a nice Pizza tho, then Tiramusu flavor was average but could have been bigger – ended up at chippie as felt hungry afterwards = probly not go again
