June 2019. Dinner for two $160 including a corona, ginger beer and 2 soft drinks. The cheese garlic bread with dips was absolutely scrummy !! Insalata Pollo (chicken salad appetiser) was very generous and delicious. The Cocktai di Gaamberi was okay. Eye Fillet was delicious, although slightly salty and the Pork Belly was very nice although a little dry in places. Both dishes actually came with a few veges which was nice. Atmosphere was warm, friendly and inviting. Staff were great ! Very friendly, attentive but in no way intrusive. Given options as to where our table of two would like to sit and menu explained well. We also ordered seasonal vegetables. Will return.
I came here with my mum while we were away at the mount and it was very cute, i had the fettuccine and it was so delicious!! the service was super nice and the food came out at a good time, the one down thing was my mums chicken was raw and she told the staff they did apologise but it’s out of their control , she diddnt get a discount or anything so we were disappointed by that. but my food was very good.
My partner and I came in this evening, visiting Tauranga for one night. Everything was fantastic! I had the prawn spaghetti dish and my partner had the gnocchi. There were so many prawns and the white wine sauce was full of flavour – they even added extra chilli. My partner tried gnocchi for the first time and it was superb. We will be back when we’re here next. Definitely recommend this place – atmosphere, value for money and food is all 10/10.
Came here as a last resort having not made a booking anywhere else and, having been here once before for a subpar experience, I wasn’t overly excited. We ordered the pancetta and broad bean gnocchi and the chicken and mushroom fettuccine. The gnocchi was dry and heavy and the fettuccine tasted more like butter than anything else. The service was slow and relatively unfriendly despite having probably 5 or more wait staff on the floor.Wouldn’t recommend unless desperate for a meal, over priced for what we got and left feeling very underwhelmed.
Literally the best meal I have ever had in a restaurant. Hands down. Amazing ambience. Amazing service. Amazing wine. Amazing meal. I ordered the chicken parmigiana and it was heaven on earth!
Pretty good Italian fare. Canadian waitress was a gem. She was happy to cater for one of our party’s dietary requirements with a smile. Didn’t try the gnocchi Will do so next time
