After reading the reviews, thought we would give this a try on our last night in Rotorua. Disappointed. The fish was expensive for the smallest pieces and the chips – some were half uncooked. The ladies behind the counter seemed uninterested. Landed up at good Ol McDonalds for a late night meal as we were both left hungry!
This was a nice surprise! Our family really enjoyed our meal from this place. The fish and chips we ordered came in a nice rectangular paper dish with generous chunky juicy wedges of lemon. The battered fish was tasty and moist, and came garnished with fresh parsley, the chips were scrumptious and crunchy. The tartare and tomato sauce came in little clear lidded containers. The presentation of the food blew us all away. We were very impressed. We haven’t had fish and chips like this in Auckland! Not a morsel was left, it was so delicious!!
Top quality food and excellent service! Although the shop was busy when I ordered my food, they still managed to maintain a high standard in customer service and my food was cooked to my requirements. I would definitely recommend this Fish N chip Shop as a must dine when visiting the Rotorua District 10/10
The best fish and chips we’ve ever had. Great fish with the option of a lemon, crispy chips and not at all greasy. We had the terakihi burger- light, tasty and delicious, with a hint of something special in the mayo. Fantastic and professional service, plus a free filter coffee while we waited.
