Food was bland and lacking flavour. Massaman curry was very watery, expected peanuts to be roasted, but instead were halved and flavourless. Pad Thai looked appetising but once again was lacking flavour.Overall disappointed with the quality of the food given the price the was paid.
Food was very disappointing, tasted like it was all made from the same stock. Curries could have been more thick (was very watery) as curry should be. Peanuts should’ve been roasted, not raw and have the texture of potatoes. Not happy with the money I spent on this.
Always get the best service here. And have had a starter free because I’ve been here so often. The food is delicious and cooked well. I recommend the cashew nut chicken and the vegetarian tofu dish. My only place in Rotorua for a good Thai
Orders Red Pineapple Chicken Curry & Veggie pad Thai & Veggie spring rolls for take away- 9:30pm wouldn’t order spring rolls again.- bland and Pad Thai was quite boring/ bland liquid smoke only taste, added some of my curry for flavour. Curry was hot and spicy but to salty. pineapple was canned and veggies frozen. Expected more for the price I paid. Would not dine here again. Rather try another place for Thai in the area. Staff was kind and Accommodating.
Really love their customer service here. The food was alright. It is big enough to share between two (that is when you are not very hungry) and there’s a lot of people who comes in here and also enjoy their food. A lot of tables and seats for everyone. There’s more seats on the second floor for everyone.
Best fried rice ever! We had one with shrimp and one with chicken, both were really good. Ate here many times, actually every time we visit Rotorua. It was a full house last night, but food serve really fast. Service was good too.
This restuarant has been in Roto forever. It sitsca block up from the modern canopied Eat Street. I am glad the newer and trendier options have not brought this venue to a demise. The charm of this place isnt out of a box like hollywood bakery styled restaurants. Pad thai was prawn as usual. Good standard and good portion Prawns were big and crunchy so hard to beat 5/5; Whole fish: red snapper elaborately garnished and great flavour cooked very well soft meat came away from the fish bone and juicy. 4.5/5;Duck red curry ok here again portion was a little small and presentation was not great taste and inclusion of pineapple a must. 3/5Spring rolls you get 5 in a entree portion tasted ok 3/5.Spicy beef with veges this was a little unadventurous on our part and dish was equally mediocre. Just another spicy sauce cooked with general veges nothing exotic. 3/5;Service was ok. Disappointing wine menu didn’t have the Central Otago pinot noir and the south Island Brancott was substituted which was regrettable that I agreed. A very low end pinot carried possibly cheeky given the first choice was a C.O. pinot. 1/5Took off half a point for the bad cheap wine wrecking the dinner still charged at $9 a glass.
