Five of us went to the Back Porch Cafe for breakfast of Saturday. We sat out the back as we had the dog with us.The decor was okay and you had to order at the counter.We tried flat whites (disappointing), cappuccino (better than the flat whites) and the ice chocolate smoothie (its texture suggested that it was made out of chocolate powder).The fried and poached eggs with bacon were good but half the plate was decorated with balsamic vinegar, so you had to wipe it off so that you had somewhere to put the toast!We also tried the pancakes, they were okay but their uniform size suggested that they were manufactured as opposed to made to order.The smoked salmon bagel came with chunks of smoked salmon, as opposed to sliced and in a deconstructed state (ie the cream cheese, avocado etc were on the side). My daughter told me that the bagel was dry.An average experience over all and it is unlikely that we will return.
