NOT HONESTHad a drink this afternoon, we order a 330ml beer and a flat white, when we went to pay, on the bill were a 430ml beer and a large flat white. The not very friendly cashier double checked and told us what we had were all big sizes.During the order we were never asked to change to a big size or not. They just upgradeed your drink automatically and charge you extra. Sneaky and not honest.Dont really care about the $2.5 difference, but will not go back again.Very suprised to see this, and never had this experience before in NZ.

Went for lunch yesterday. The meals were very small for the price we paid. My husband had the pork and Scallops (2) The pork was very dry. No one came to ask if we wanted more drinks or desert. We left and went for coffee somewhere else. 10 of us so they missed out on 10 deserts or coffees!! Won’t go back again.

Wow. This place was amazing. We rocked up without a booking but they found us a table by the window with an amazing view. We both shared the duck pate with crosstini and Camembert cheese. Then my hubby had the roast duck. Delicious!!! I had homemade pasta with chicken. One of the tastiest pasta dishes ever. Dessert was churros with chocolate sauce and Creme Burlee. Overall could not fault a thing. Service was spot on too!!!! Would definitely be worth a drive from Auckland just to eat here. Well done!!

Very disappointing, meal potions were very small, Main meal was so under cooked that it couldn’t be eaten, and very tasteless , also the bar lady was rude when we told her that the meal wasn’t that good. This used to be our favourite restaurant but we won’t be going back there again.

Beautiful view. Friendly staff. Good food. Unfortunately not very kid friendly. I mean they didn’t have a high chair! A bit disappointing. Also the kids menu not so great. Otherwise the food is good. And nice place to sit and have a drink.

Went to bluebiyou for dinner last night. Service was good. Food was not. I had calamari for entree, salad with no dressing, calamari cooked well but so salty! I Don’t mind salty foods but I could not taste anything else, left an unpleasant taste in my mouth. Had the seafood pasta for main, dry pasta that was all stuck together in clumps, not much sauce at all. Seafood cooked well. Once again a lot of salt. Desert ginger cream brûlée, was good enjoyed that. Overall for the beautiful setting the food does not match and unfortunately I would not want to come back for a meal.

Extremely angry that you wouldn’t accept our $100 voucher that the previous owners of the restaurant issued. Didn’t offer to halve the bill or do anything to send us away feeling happy. Only offered the previous owners details to try and get money back off them, after having to pay for our meal ourselves.Very disappointed. Will NOT recommend and will NOT be going back.THANKS FOR NOTHING!!!
