I went here with my friend for dinner last week. This restaurant is huge! You think that you can see everything and then there is a whole other section. Really nice warm feeling, very welcoming.The service was really good, we were never had to look for anyone. Told us the specials, took drink orders and entree, came back to take orders for mains, asked if we needed more drinks and always topped the water up! The food was amazing! We had the warm garlic bread to start which was nice, I had the lamb shank and my friend had the coconut chicken. Delicious! Lamb just fell off the bone, vege was seasoned well and mashed potato was so good! Chicken was so flavorful however I felt like there should have been some veges or something with it as it was just chicken and rice with a little garnish.Would definitely go back if I was in the neighborhood! One for the whole family!
A bit disappointed tonight, I had surf and turf, the prawns still had the tail shell on, the parmesan sauce tasted more of butter than parmesan the streak was very stringy and with my dessert the chocolate sauce tasted like the sugars had been burned and to top it off the coffee came from a pod so there was no skill in making it.
Great food awesome team.. can not ask for more.. classic kiwi experience.. good size meals and great value.. would recommend and will be back
