I was here a few weeks ago on a work trip. Being from Melbourne I can be pretty picky about my coffee.The guys here are very knowledgeable about their coffee. Very friendly and passionate staff, and great coffee. You may pay $0.50 more for a coffee here than you would elsewhere, but the quality is great! Definitely worth it.
Excellent coffee. Pleasant seating. Friendly staff who know about coffee. Offers exactly what they say: a ROASTERY and ESPRESSO BAR. If you are after a restaurant or cafe, head to the strand. This place sticks to what they do well – great coffee.
Wow, What a disappointment.I’m all for trying out new places but definitely won’t be returning to Fixation.Food selection is very poor, the savoury muffin we got was dry and had probably been made a couple days earlier.There was a vent from the roastery than emptied out near the tables and we couldnt stand the smell so returned inside.Attempted to sit outside but the Dreadlocked girl who served us had no personality when I sparked up conversation asking about the roastery etc. No interest in conversing. We asked for butter with our muffin when it eventually came, 5 mins later she came out with butter and by then muffin was cold. My sister found her mocaccino below average but my coffee was the saving grace – it was good. But then again good coffee can be found in many places.
