It is similar to the branches in Auckland. You choose your own ingredients and sauces and the cooks will stirfry it for you. The difficulty is getting the seasoning and salt levels right. Always go easy on the salt. Can always add more in. Most end up in a mess but a great novelty activity for younger children. The dessert is pancakes and they are tasty – shame the ice cream used is very cheap tasting. Venue is clean and there is also a buffet area with an array of salads and fried goods.
Had a lovely dinner here with the family, we usually go to another buffet but tried this one for a change, a little bit of confusion over the birthday special- we had a birthday in our group 7 days away, was confirmed on the phone that this would be ok and when we got there our waitress said it wasn’t, however she made an exception and apologised for the misunderstanding 🙂 The rest of the meal was fantastic, lots of variety, food was cooked quickly, pancakes were awesome, great atmosphere and fantastic service with a smile will definitely be back next time!

This restaurant was the best Ghengys I have ever been to I’ve been to a few in Auckland and was not impressed but I was blown away the service was fantastic the food was fresh and plentiful always topped up. A great atmosphere clean and we’ll organised and the staff were continuously clearing plates organising drinks and welcoming guests I highly recommend this restaurant and will be going back there for sure!
Enjoyed going out to this place where our birthday girl got her meal for $1. Very friendly, accommodating staff. The great selection of food is fantastic especially being able to make combinations of your choice.
Yummm, I await the next time I go to Gengy’s.I was amazed at how big the place was and so busy! With that being said the service was quick to clear any plates and cook your food. The staff were friendly and polite.The food selection was great and always being restocked. The chicken nibbles were the best ever. I felt like I ate my $$ worth
So good! The food selection is amazing and the staff are super friendly. It’s a little pricey though but considering it’s all you can eat you can get value for you money if you can squeeze it in
