Yay! Our first coffee stop once we arrived in Tauranga. Obviously, Starbucks was a place to call home, especially since there was a bit of a cold front when we arrived. The views are great, as they look out on the wharf an we just love dreamily sipping on these legendary beverages while looking at the boats coming and going. clarissavem.com
I like full-bodied, strong, creamy coffee and Starbucks hot beverages just don’t hit the spot. Also something that bugs me (and I’m pretty sure it’s not the Baristas) is the consistency of milk froth. It’s ALWAYS bubbly and it should be thick, foamy and creamy. Maybe it’s just me, but I always experience this.However, big ups for the Frappuccinos which is the only thing that brings me to Starbucks these days.
