Our 1st visit, but certainly not our last. Under new management, & are trying out opening on a Sunday. Judging by the customers we saw in our short time, I’d say it will be a great success.Pumpkin salad,that we shared, got the tick, but the cheese scone( which was packed with lots of other goodies), & the raspberry& white choc muffin was amazing.not to go unmentioned, the coffee came in a decent size cup! Thanks guys, your friendly, welcoming service was appreciated.
I went to Sunrise Cafe for the first time yesterday and it was a fantastic experience. It is under new management, yet they graciously accepted my entertainment book voucher despite not even knowing they were in the book. The staff were all fabulous. But the stand out part of the experience was a new chilli sauce they had made and were using for the first time in the cafe. It was the most sensational tasting HOT chilli sauce I have ever tasted and for that reason alone I will return to this Cafe over and over again in the future! Visiting Sunrise Cafe made my day!!!
I went to Sunrise Café Tauranga for the first time and I thought that the service was bad, really bad service by the staff members, they were not very friendly at all. I will not be going back to that café again. I only went there because I won a free voucher for a coffee.
Great cafe, delicious food and wonderful service, will be recommending this place.
Visited Tauranga for the jazz festival and had breakfast at the cafe during the busy festival season. Had a gr8 experience, even though the cafe was crowded the staff were calm, prompt and very polite. The food was excellent – wide variety of dishes, delicious and extremely good value for money.
Took my son for saturday brunch. Great cafe, good food, good selection. Will return.
