You should try this restaurant for delicious cuisines and their pies. Located in central Tauranga, this place has a Portobello mushroom sandwich which very few places would stand a chance against.The med has amazing food but the wait can be significant. We reached at an odd hour so it was just us, still it took them over standard time to process our food orders. So yeah that’s a thing to know and keep in mind.

This place is a bit of a hit and miss. The location is handy and it is known to be a ‘trendy’ cafe – however it is quite crammed inside. The food is okay, they offer a variety of treats and cabinet variety is great. Would say that it is a decent place to have a reliable meal.
Food and coffee is good here. Unfortunately the wait for food is ridiculous. Even drinks took about 15 mins. The first time we ordered food from the menu so I understood that it would take a while. But the second time we came here we ordered from the cabinet and waited 25 minutes! Just for something to get heated up. People who ordered after us received their orders before we did. The place is too crammed in also. And walking through a kitchen to get to the toilet seems pretty unhygienic. Won’t be back again.
First time I went my mocha was awesome. Second time was such a disappointment, hence have not been back since then for my mocha. The barista was different on the two occasions so that may have contributed. Service is good from the staff who check up on you to, and I did quite enjoy my buckwheat pancakes which were fluffy and not too sweet. Lots of options whether if you’re after cabinet food or a meal.
Ordered eggs benedict with poached eggs and salmoln. Quite disappointed as eggs were hard and meal was cold and dry.Would not visit again for multiple reasons.
