the best sushi place i have ever eaten at! has a huge range and variety! i have brought many friends here, and they too have since said it is there favourite sushi shop! very fresh and delicious!the sushi is amazing and the customer service is outstanding! the shop is clean and the sushi is always being made fresh and restocked. the place is always busy, but i can find a place to sit, whether thats outside or inside. outstanding and a well deserved 5 stars.
The first sushi I ever had was from Yoku, I was a sushi addict from that point on and over the many many years of eating sushi, Yoku has always been top of the list. It is consistantly good, always fresh and authentic. Many, many people i know rate Yoku sushi as some of the best in the country, and i would have to agree!.
Absolutely prime. I’ve loved this sushi place from the first time I got sushi here. A variety of sushi, from the average rolled (maki) sushi to nigiri (rice mould with something on the top, usually fish or meat) and some delicious potato croquettes/deep fried rice balls which are becoming more and more popular with us kiwis. Whenever I’m getting lunch in town, Yoku sushi is the first place that comes to mind!—– 28 Feb, 2009 —–Absolutely prime. Delicious sushi, great service and good priced.This is definitely the best sushi you can get, and my favourite sushi place. I never go anywhere else.Any criticism? Since it is obviously very popular, in the past few months the prices of the sushi have slowly risen. However as this is excellent sushi, it does not bother me at all.
Fantastic and friendly service, clean and relaxed atmosphere followed by a delicious, fresh and affordable meal. For a Westernised adaptation of sushi this is one place hard to beat.
