This is our favourite place in Tauranga. Great food, decent size of meal, owners are nice people, and we love the interior. Unfortunately on our last visit we did notice that our favourite seafood platter is off the menu, and service dropped down a bit. We will come back in February and hope that you guys will treat us with the same great food and service as before.Definitely worth a visit if you are around the mount and love healthy food.
Visited this place with friends and had an amazing experience. The food preparation and presentation is simply wow. My first experience for Mediterranean cuisine was overwhelming and we enjoyed our meals to the fullest.
A very disappointing evening..the name has changed so maybe under new management which may explain the awful evening. Very slow service, no welcome on arrival. Food was shocking, the mixed grill was scorched. We paid the bill and walked away with half empty plates still on the table. No one asked if we enjoyed our evening or meal. I would not recommend this restaurant.
Been here a few times for dinner 🙂 came here for a work dinner the other week, had a salad HUGE portions nice generous size wine glasses, came here cause I was hungry and it looked quiet wanted food in a hurry and it came fast 🙂 would recommend if you feel like a healthy med style meal
Wow! This place has beautiful décor. The restaurant is large and there are lots of areas for larger groups. The staff here are very attentive and really friendly! I ordered the moussaka which was pretty tasty but there wasn’t enough tomato which made it a bit dry. There could have been some more eggplant in there as well. They also put sweet-chilli sauce on the top which was slightly bizarre. The rice and salad that came with the dish were really nice. My friend ordered the lamb cutlets which she really enjoyed. I’d love to come back here at night if I am in the area as I imagine it would be very lively. Some slight improvements on the food could be made but I can see why this place is so popular.
The third and final restaurant for my birthday celebration last 5th March. This has actually been renamed Constantinopoli, but because there’s another Zeytin restaurant in Mount Maunganui, or The Mount, the owners may have decided to retain the name here in Zomato and on their website.A young friendly male attendant approached us while we were browsing the menu laid out with a stand on the walkway, and asked if we needed help. We said we were just looking at the menu and will come back soon. So my partner decided on another entree of Turkish bread with dip and big Turkish pizza. When we sat. a lady came to get our choices while the male attendant checked if the nice blue bottled water was cold. He then promptly replaced it. First came the bread with dip. There were five pieces and just the right degree of softness and chewiness, though we had to bring home two pieces as we were nearly full. Then the lady asked us if we were ready for the pizza, and said yes. Waited for few more minutes, then pizza was served. Wow,it was really lovely, my partner had too many pieces. But that was alright. Got to take home another two slices.Overall, the ambience is super lovely. I love many colors in a restaurant and this one doesn’t disappoint. And the food! Would definitely love to come back here for more the next time we visit Bay of Plenty. manxmarche.com
have been here a few times, i always leave with a full belly, food can be a little bland sometimes but that must depend on what you order because i’ve had some amazing meals there and some not so amazing, recommend the garlic ‘bread’ though, its amazing!! staff always so friendly 🙂
