Your food and coffee were quite nice.The girl that eventually served me, was disinterested and folding napkins and obviously looking at the clock for finishing time, even tho the hours on the door said 3:30pm close, we ordered at 2pm well before the 3:30pm closing.I appreciate good service, sadly lacking here today.

Food and setting are really great – what lets this place down is unfortunately their staff. I’ve been twice within the past week and both times received a cold, unsmiling, functional response. I felt as though I was inconveniencing them in some way! Sort this out and this will become a regular for me and friends.
Wouldn’t recommend this cafe – it was untidy, the staff didn’t clear the tables so there were dirty plates and cups left (we had to clear our table before we could sit down and eat), there was litter on the floor, when our meal was served (we both got the same meal) one portion was considerably bigger than the other, the toasted muffins were soggy, one of the poached eggs were hard. When I told the waitress about my concerns nothing was done about it – basically a very uncomfortable situation and I would not want others to experience this so I would advise against anyone visiting this establishment.
