This is our go to place when we have visitors for out of town, they all rave about it. We have been going regularly for years and have never had anything that wasn’t great . A great selection as there is something for everybody. We had visitors from Whangarei and one ate only gluten free and she found plenty to eat so it is a 12 out of ten from us
Absolutely love this place! All you can eat – what more is there to say! My favourite thing about this place is that they have labelled GF options – not common in Chinese cuisine so I really appreciate it. Efficient staff too. I like that they have a mix of Western foods and desserts also, so everyone is kept happy. Will keep coming back 🙂
this place is extremely good value for money! it can get very busy at times but i guess that means its a good place to go, food quality is good, love the sweet and sour pork
I came here with my wife and 2yo. my wife isn’t a big eater and didn’t want to pay for the smorgasbord so she got a small takeaway to eat and I got a dine in plate. no worries. we all sat down with our food and started eating. then a woman (possible the manager) came over, pointed at my wife and said she had to eat outside. her English was minimal so she mostly pointed at my wife then outside and kept repeating she had to eat outside with her takeaway. I understand the idea of not eating a takeaway inside, but they knew that was our plan when we paid at the start and they said nothing. it was the most humiliating experience for my wife, to be pointed at and told to go outside like a dog. I got so offended and demanded our money back, which we got with no apology. and then we were told maybe she could eat inside! we’ve never been treated so rudely as paying customers. I manage one of the busiest restaurants in Tauranga and I would never ever treat my customers like this. the food isn’t any better than any other Chinese restaurant, and the service is shocking. I recommend anywhere else for Chinese food.I rather find a hair in the food that be treated like that!! I was a regular customer and now I will never recommend this place, I will never take my family and friends there and I will never go back!!
we often go here, it is our local buffet, good value if you have large family etc.We used to love the lamb shanks, oysters, sushi and most of all the pav.they recently deleted the lamb shanks and the pav was chewy on our last couple of visits.we have a booking for tomorrow night and hoping the pav might be better.All in all though, my kids love this place and is very cheap for kids as they only charge $1 per year!

Very bland & tasteless food. Scallop’s tasted frozen, Won Tons tasteless and dry & so were loads of other items. Over priced at $20 each. Much better buffet places around!!!
