One of the best English breakfast buffet ever.Melt in mouth pancakes, perfectly cooked sausages and exactly crisp Bacon, what else you can ask for.Also juices were fresh and extracted minutes before only.Will be back here for sure.
We enjoyed the buffet breakfast and dinner. Their À la carte service is great too! It`s an added thing we enjoyed in the hotel. We`ll be back next time were in Rotorua.
Chapmans is a great Restaurant. Have been in for dinner a couple of times and have to they the food has been great, the service lives out to its expectation too. Will be back there very soon 🙂
We were here for the hotel’s annual Xmas Day lunch buffet (2014). We’ve had horrible experiences with buffets before (SKY CITY comes to mind) – so we weren’t expecting much from Rotorua – it was just something to look forward to since we were there for the hols. But ho hey – we were pleasantly surprised. The food was tasty, fresh and rich in variety. Loved it. Especially impressed with the cold food range (oysters were a favourite) and desserts. Yummo.They also added a personal touch by giving each one of us a personalised Xmas card while dining at our table – so that was pretty cool. The wait staff was courteous, friendly and professional. Most importantly – the manager followed up with us before and after our entire dining experience – so that was something unexpected, very very impressed. You can see that they are going to great lengths to constantly find ways to better their service quality.Highly recommended – bookings essential though 🙂
Great atmosphere. Lovely and modern restaurant. Dined in for a full buffet dinner. Arrived later in the evening and the food was still fresh and delicious. Seafood selection was great, as well as the dessert. Great selection of salads and hot food. Lovely, efficient service. Great price for a great selection of food. Was a very pleasant experience.
we just arrived back home from Australia after 30 years and when we were invited for a meal at Chapmans restaurant we were not so keen because we had planned an evening watching the RWC rugby. As it turned out our tummies got the better of us and we decided to go and dine with our friends.Now let me tell you it was the very best smorgesboard we had ever encountered and have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant to anyone who enjoys eating. There was not one disappointing moment. I have already recommended it to my family and plan another meal very very soon.P.S The wine was smooth to the pallet. Thank-you Chapmans.
This is where our family eats out – birthdays and other celebrations, it is always an enjoyable experience. Staff are friendly, the dinner buffet is great with a good selection, although I did note on a recent visit in July, the desserts were a bit sparse and no pavlova, however it could of been because it was early in the week?? Would highly recommend, is a great place to bring a big group of people, they are accommodating and although the price has increased over the years, it is well worth it.
