This is a great restaurant if you’re wanting a taste of the fine dining. I had the trio of fish and it was amazing. The service was great and very quick. I was left feeling full too
Seriously, what is the matter with this place? The food/menu may look enticing but the service is horrendous. On at least four different occasions staff have been rude. This is completely unacceptable. Just because there is little competition in Whakatane (barring Soulsa where I would eat over Roquette every time) I can think of no good reason for surly/condescending front line staff. If I owned this establishment and had staff like this working for me I would be seriously concerned. I know at least six to eight locals who will never eat here again simply because of the staff and their too-cool-to-serve-you attitude. Know what? This isn’t LA!!!!! Where actually, they would not get away with service like this.
