A friendly local bar with a good vibe and nice staff. Have had the food on four occasions and found it to be OK for a bar of this sort. Not a great deal of choices for drinks though.
Long time listener, first time caller. Just sampled the Stew for lunch over a quiet Jug with me old mate Craig. For $10, you cannot beat the quality nor quantity. Nice combination of meat, veg and gravy with some man bread to boot. No need for what is usually the minimum requirement of sauce. And you can eat it with a spoon meaning your other hand is free to grab your glass, a bet slip or your cell phone. The Miller (and Rachel in particular) can prepare whatever you want and how you want it but I wouldn’t change a thing (Craig didn’t eat the celery but he is a meat and 3 veg man after all).Everyone is a winner at The Miller!
Terrible dining experience at a terrible bar. The man who served us was clearly hungover, and not to mention drinking on the job (at lunch, of all times). The steak sandwich I ordered was inedible – the steak and plates were stone cold – the bread was stale and was absolutely drenched in sauces that did not accompany each other at all. The fries were as expected – drenched in fat. I would stay clear from here if you want to eat something that has some taste to it.
