For a bakery, this is one of the best you can get. Disappointed it has moved from my side of town since the earthquake! They have a range of things, including yummy rice paper rolls! Not badly priced either!
This bakery makes the best and the most delicious pies out of any bakery I’ve been to in Christchurch. I mostly buy the vegetarian quiche and cheese rolls which are my favourites from the bakery. The staff from the Aorangi Bakery are also lovely as well! Recently, I just had relatives who had come down from Auckland and they thought that the pies from this bakery are a lot better than the pies from the bakeries up in Auckland. My entire family love the pies from the Aorangi Bakery.
Perfect little bakery just around the corner. Always overflowing with customers. Lovely staff and great location. I recommend popping on down to get something to eat for lunch. Great after a rugby game a nice warm pie to warm your belly and lift your spirits.
