There wasn’t many options on the menu so I went with the risotto which was a very bright green colour and I felt like I was eating baby food. The decor seemed cheap but the service was decent.
Cannot recommend this place. There prices are insane, and the portions are crazy small. Add that with some poor service waitress who spent most of the time in the kitchen screeching in Chinese, and its a recipe for disaster. Its not many times i have left a restaurant feeling hungry.. but i am glad there was a fish and chip shop around the corner so the $3 scoop of chips could fill me up after spending $112 on a meal only fit for under 5’s.
I don’t usually bother to leave reviews, however, I felt it necessary as this restaurant seems underrated. I have been twice with my girlfriend. The firs time was excellent, the second time good. Service was above average, it had a nice atmosphere, and the food tasted great. We did use grabone vouchers, as otherwise, the meals would be too expensive for us. I should point out that last time we visited we both signed up as members (which was free to do so) which entitles us to half price breakfast and buy one get one free main meals. Overall, we would both go back at these discounted prices, but not at the full prices.
Really boring place. The decor was very interesting to say the least. Service was so boring and lack Lustre. The food was lack Lustre too.
We bought a voucher from GrabOne but even with that this experience was not value for money. It was for the High Tea which I was told could be made Gluten Free with a surcharge. Whilst what we had was gluten free it was missing things. The waitress also didn’t have good English so I wasn’t even feeling confident about what we were eating. I didn’t want to pay the surcharge when it was obvious we had received less food because of getting the GF option and when I informed the manager she started shouting at me and proceeded to follow me out of the restaurant hurling abuse at me all for $6!! Won’t be going back there ever again.
Went there on a grab one voucher thank goddness as it is rather pricey. But lovely meals I had the scallops and beef fillet. Fillet slightly over cooked as I asked for rear. I would recomend that the staff should be in uniforms as one girl there just had casual clothing on. Would have been nice to be offered a drink or something after the meal. Just seemed they were in a hurry to get us out. My friend had the T Bone and and there were some extras on the meal that werent on the menu and clearly explained. Meals came out fast.
Never going back there again. Too expensive and food doesn’t taste that nice and the portion is tiny compared to the prices. I don’t recommend this place to anybody or any of friends or family.
