Definitely a great spot for any occasions. We went after work for wine and banter then ended with more food! Definitely a great atmosphere for downtime and food was fantastic (got the eye fillet). Would definitely go back there.
This place is warm and has a great vibe, decided to stay for dinner. The guacamole is smashed in front of you, cool and fresh. We ordered the market fish which was ok, and the pollo a la parrilla. The chicken was unfortunately dry and over cooked. All in all a very average meal.
Fantastic place to come. It has a great long drinks menu and a good sized menu. The seated arrangements really ranged, we went in a booth and we were able to hide away and talk for a couple of hours. It was nice having the waitress make the guacamole at our table (and it was soo good!). The cocktails were delicious and strong. We had a range of small plates all very different and tasted quite authentic. I’d recommend this place for sure
Went for dinner, decor and staff were lovely food unfortunately was not. Ordered the pork belly taco however the pork fat was not rendered and difficult to stomach. Guac was made fresh however the syrup they put in it make it very sweet and not to my taste. Overall not my cup of tea but others may enjoy their food.
Was quite disappointed in the food. The guac made at your table is awesome but the chips that come with it are too greasy/fatty. The tacos we had were alright. The kumera croquette was bland, too dense and just not enjoyable, the chipotle mayo that comes with it is super tasty though. So they’ve hit the spot with some things but then with other nailed it, so a fair bit of improvement to be made. Staff are lovely though and a gorgeous decor.
One of the few decent places I could find open in Christchurch central on a Monday evening. The service was great and chat was on form. I was traveling for work and it had a good vibe for a Monday. I ordered the salmon and fish ceviche and while delicious they weren’t exactly what I was expecting. They came on a small round fried tortilla which, I felt, took away from the fresh and light meal you typically get with ceviche. Overall I would definitely come again and it seems like a great place to share a meal with a date or friend.
