The elusive Mamacita’s food truck must be found! I had their $5 tacos at the A&P Show and they were amazing. I tried the pulled pork taco with their achiote garlic tequila sauce. Definitely the best tacos in the city, but I cannot find the food truck during the week days. Their hours are very infrequent and, sadly, most of the days Mamacita’s is actually not operating. Use their website: mamacitas.co.nz/find.html to see where and when they’ll be open to try and catch them, because if you can, it’s totally worth it!

An Excellent representation of Mexican food, having eaten Mexican food in San Fransisco, England, Spain and importantly Mexico, I think I know a decent Mexican when I taste one! Friendly staff and great food, so much so I have returned again and again! (coupled by the fact that its heads to my home seaside town on Saturdays and is a short walk from work during the week! This ROCKS!)With a vast selection of fancy heat sauces to add your own face melting spice, What can go wrong?
Great flavours, super friendly service and excellent value for money. I had prawn fajita tacos and herby slaw which were excellent. They also have loads of different spicy sauces for you to add extra heat if you want.
I love Mamacita’s. I love that I can get a tasty gluten free taco, not many food carts have food that I can eat, however not only is it food I can eat but they are mighty tasty tacos. My kids who are a little on the fussy side also love the food, the burritos being a fav.
Perfect!We loved Mamacita’s.we tried Mamacita’s at the Cathedral market before Christmas.Light, refreshing, fresh, packed with flavour. The staff were friendly and the service was quick and efficient.We will be eating at Mamacita’s the next time we’re in town.Mami, muy buena!
