We were quite disappointed with our meals. Karaange Chicken Don, Prawn Egg Don and a Curry with Inari. The rice was very sticky dry and not much sauce. Chicken was bland and over powered by egg and onion, the prawns were a bit better but that was still in itself the only part of the meal that was any good. The curry was fine and the Inari. Wasn’t the best money’s worth of food it really lacked. The staff I will credit for super politeness.

first time i have been, very unimpressed! everything was quite expensive but that’s fine if the food is good but unfortunately it’s was very average, i had the chicken nanban which was soggy and not pleasant to eat, i asked them if that was normal and they said it was, never had like that when i lived in japan, on the upside the chips and gyoza were ok, sorry first and last time for our family.

I am rating this as a fast food establishment. If you want Japanese food, fast and at a good price, this is the place to go for your Friday night takeaway. The staff are very friendly, and happy to accommodate any extra requests you have. Come here for your typical Japanese favourites at a good price. The range of sushi is also fantastic, and much better than the mall sushi you find everywhere. The fish is always fresh, and cut with precision.

I really appreciated their miso ramen as they’ve almost got it perfect on point – it has that richness ramen miso soup is supposed to have. The best I’ve had in NZ at the moment. I also love how you could ask for your favourite sushi to be made upfront and fresh. Their sushi is pretty great, not dry and just right for decentish price. Staff are very nice and polite. A nice cute little place to have a meal or sushi takeout. I 10/10 recommend to ditch mall sushi for their sushi.

A standard range of sushi, sashimi, dons etc. They make their sushi fresh when you order. The first thing you’ll notice is the smell! The mall stuff is largely odourless, these guys are fragrant and will get you salivating! Only about 10% dearer than the Mall muck but many times better!

Fantastic food, quick and friendly service – always a delight getting my food from here! I had the Karaage don tonight and was not dissapointed, chicken cooked to perfection and all the ingredients tasted very fresh. For a takeaway this is what I would consider the higher end 🙂
