For whatever reason, Wendy’s isn’t as big as the other American burger chains but it does have a lot of interesting things going for it.If you are finding McDonalds a bit pricey, Wendy’s could be a better value alternative. All the burgers are made fresh to order so there can be some waiting time involved but food is brought to your table after ordering and the burgers are made of real ingredients!Wendy’s burgers have a distinct pale yellow bun which makes it standout from other burgers. They also have other interesting items on their menu like bowl of chilli, and baked potatoes.Most memorable thing from our visit this time though was the size of their large drinks! It’s probably a ‘regular’ in the US but it’s huge!
definitely wasn’t the cheapest, but the quality was better than i was excepting. still not as good as the hype in the states but ya can’t expect too much. sauces were a bit of a hit or miss. probably wouldn’t go again unless i was wanting to treat myself. but. overall, not bad. wouldn’t be my go to though.

I love Wendy’s so much, they may not have the best burgers in my opinion but they do have amazingly huge chips and a lot of other good meals you can get that make it good.
The only burger I love there is Avocado Bacon Supreme, it has chicken in it too so I’m a happy customer 😛 Though I think adding an extra piece of artificial cheese shouldn’t cost me $1. The whole medium combo fastfood meal costed me around $15 yo hahaha..I’m stingy, nah don’t worry there’s only one Wendy’s here in Christchurch so I understand that 😉
I love Wendy’s the first time I went to that restaurant was 3 years ago in South Auckland. I went into Wendy’s again but in Christchurch and for me as someone who mostly orders a large combo at fast food restaurants. I was hoping for Wendy’s to serve me a large combo but with a medium sized drink, but unfortunately they couldn’t do that. A medium sized drink is equivalent to Macca’s large drink and the Wendy’s large drink would be roughly the size of a Homebrand 1 litre fizzy drink. Just to warn people I ordered a Chicken burger and typically when I ordered a chicken burger it wasn’t battered or crumbed. I tend to love my chicken crumbed or battered, so maybe if you do pop into Wendy’s and you happen to order one of the chicken burgers just ask if it is coated. The Wendy’s is far from where I live, but I am more than happy to pop in again.
