Fancy bar on university campus. They have a different $10 meal combo every week and I have tried a few, which have been good. The steak (Roast of the Day) $10 combo was filling enough for dinner. The place has a very good ambience for a university bar but the food did not live up to the expectations yet. I feel the regular menu is kind of pricey for what they offer.
Delicious food! It is a great bar and cafe to go to where group events are held! The Shilling Club also provides catering. The place has done an amazing job with the food during the UCSA election night. But have also done an excellent job with the food that Thursday night last week during the MacMillan Brown conference, as it was so delicious and people kept coming back for more. The Shilling Club also makes delicious pizzas. The staff members are friendly and are of assistance. Quite a lot of the cafes and bars around uni are pretty similar in terms of food as they are all owned by the UCSA. The Shilling Club is great place to come to if you want a nice quiet, relaxing and intimate time with friends and colleagues. My favourite people in the shilling club are the young staff members and the lovely middle aged woman with the husky voice. I wish there was a ramp inside the shilling club so wheelchair users who come to events at the bottom don’t need to go outside to come to the bottom of the shilling club.
