It is such an amazing place, vibe, space (its got this modern rustic feel to it) and etc. so much so that I went there twice in two days. It is such a shame that it is all the way in Lyttelton which means that I can’t go as often as I want to. Well, may be that is a good thing for my wallet. The staff were really lovely and were patient and caring towards each customer despite the fact that the place was packed when I went. While the coffee was really good both times I went, I have to comment that the first time I went was it just that tad better than the last. So I guess my only nit picky thing is for the coffee to be a tad more consistent. The food was amazing! The flavour combinations were on point. I had the chicken sandwich and it was totally worth it. So thanks Chef.
I haven’t had such a good coffee in a long while :)I’ll admit as much as I love the hipster look the coffee place provides, it does feel a bit elitist. But aside from that they make beautiful latte art and it was a shame that I couldn’t have coffee to have at the place and that I had to takeaway :(.
I have been here a number of times whenever I visit my friend in Lyttelton. I always enjoy the food and quaint atmosphere. The staff are brilliant and friendly. The portions of food is generous and cooked to perfection. I fully recommend this place a must. Wish it was opened for dinner
We were absolutely spoilt with the view here.The interior decor was industrial style, the atmosphere was warm and very welcoming. There was also a vintage coffee machine which made for cool photographs. Great selection of food in the cabinet, unfortunately my sweet scroll was a little bit bland, was expecting more chocolate & cinnamon flavour. The pasta bake was good though.Would definitely recommend the items on the menu – my family had French toast which was just lovely. Coffee was decent too. Would definitely like to visit this place again if we were to stop by Lyttelton.
I love the atmosphere here! The high ceilings, open space and wooden decor really compliment the Lyttelton township. I often go here after the Lyttelton markets- it’s always busy, but the turnover is high and the staff manage the workload really well. Lots of selection in the cabinet and on the menu, and most importantly the coffee is great.
What a neat place! Love the decor and the high ceiling. The view is stunning. The place is very warm and welcoming. Large selection of food in the display cabinet and also from the menu. Thank you for your hospitality.
