A great place to visit if you like your coffee roasted in small batches in front of you. The staff know their stuff too. A smallish selection of really good food is also available. Yummy and reasonably priced. Every element was fresh and tasty.
This place is great to meet others for a cuppa and bite to eat. There is plenty of seating without it feeling to crowded, the staff are very welcoming and the menu includes some real treats like Fairlie pies and Grizzly Bagels. I noticed a tumeric latte on the menu today, wasn’t brave enough to try it though.
Very disappointed with the service coffee was hot also food wasn’t freshNo experience with roasting because coffee isn’t good I hope they pick up their game asap or they will find complaints building.
Interesting place with cool deco and variety of sitting arrangements- indoors vs outdoors. High table vs standard table with many odd chairs. Also a coffee roasting machine on display. Walls of mixed bags pictures. Bit confusing yet quite cool. Still, all come down to taste. The coffee is good. So are the muffins and bagels.
Met my daughter for a Sunday lunch here. I ordered off the board, gluten free bread with roast chicken and pesto. So damn yummy and loved the concept of making it up yourself. The coffee was to die for, havn’t had a brew like that in ages. My daughter had eaten in here before today and decided to try the bagel with smoked salmon. Such generous servings, can’t say enough good about this place. Friendly speedy service.I’ll be back.
Have been here for coffee and a quick breakfast several times, and I must say it is a nice place to stop off. Fairly light on with customers early in the morning, Black and White is a modern space pleasantly decorated with older furniture and paintings. Very comfortable couches to relax on.Coffee is excellent. Have only really had bagels here, but that is because although simple are damn fine. Service is friendly and efficient. Recommended for a morning hit of caffeine if you are in the area.
