Absolutely disgusting service. The bar man was rude and dismissive. He kept trying to clear our plates when we were clearly not finished eating. He insisted on us providing ID for orange juice! To which he was extremely rude about. Considering we are a pair of 28 year olds only wanting some food and juice at 4pm. His manner was appalling, the glasses were filthy, and I will be spending my money elsewhere.
An amazing little bar! Stayed in Christchurch for a night and stubbled upon this place and we had a great time dining there. The food was brilliant! We got the ribs, sirloin, onion rings and some drinks! The staff were super helpful with recommendations of their popular dishes! Absolutely loved the atmosphere, food and the staff. Highly recommend!
Food was delicious, service was fast and staff very friendly. Live music was great, everyone has a blast. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Christchurch!
FOODHad their burger sliders do admit theyre really delish except for the quantity compare to price wouldnt pay that much for it. I think Boo Radley is a perfect dine place when youre in a group or two best to order alot of side dishes to accomodate whole meal. Did I also mention their Milkshakes bring all the boys to the yard?! Try The Gingerbread Man slurrrp yum!ATMOSPHERECosy and energized! Service is great!! Theres also live music checkout their website Whats On, grab a pint or glass from one their list of beers & wine.
Place is cute. The ribs was terrible, it wasn’t finger liking as it should. Service was good. The guy was attentive and very easy going. Disappointing considering the good reviews posted. Must have caught them on a slow day.
So expensive but I love this place! So fun, so different and also a little hard to find. The atmosphere was great. It wasn’t too loud and I’m looking forward to going again. The meals were spot on too. Not sure about the alcoholic milkshakes.
First of all, what a name. Secondly, any restaurants that requires walking up the stairs excites me. This place looks quite small from the outside but I must say somehow the owner finds an efficient use of space. The staffs were friendly and attentive. We shared a few plates and everything was quite nice. The Cajun spiced fries probably need a bit more seasoning because we thought they just tasted like normal fries, the venison meatloaf was a bit bland. But everything else was delicious. And reasonably priced Hendricks – which to me, personally, is a big plus. Highly recommend chargrilled beef sliders! Beautifully done. And if you’re wondering why so much food between two people, no the portions are big, we are just blessed with the genes that allow us to eat a lot more than normal people. As we were leaving, we’ve noticed that this place was probably one of the busiest places on Victoria street, even busier than some bigger names out there. Good on them for doing well 🙂 Will visit again soon.
