Found a voucher from Grabone. It was really close to home so we just got this deal. The two mains we had were beef eye fillet and the lamb.The lamb was awesome. It would be perfect if the rack could be slightly less cooked. The rump and the soup were quite amazing. And I really enjoy the shot of soup. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who eats meat. The beef was average but with a decent portion. Well does not make it sound any better. Actually I like all the ingredients in this dish, everything. But I’m not sure if that piece of bacon went well with the beef. I feel the tastes split in my mouth. It would be better if searing both sides for longer, just guessing.The staff members were friendly. One thing I feel uncomfortable is the lights in the middle were too bright. Even though we sat near the windows it was still disturbing.
We dined at Pavillions Hotel tonight, The starter and Main very good enjoyed it.We ordered Pavlova, fruit and cream for dessert, when I put my spoon into the Pavlova it crumbled into a hard toffee like ball, and when chewed it went into very hard uneatable toffee, we both then just ate out berries and cream. BUT I did say to the staff that it wasn’t good, she went to the kitchen and said it was the way it was cooked and other people like it like that. REALLY guys your pulling my leg right. I’m a Chef and that was bad. No offer of a refund or Chef to see us nothing. Just took our money. BAD Business.
