My love for Kaninga’s spans generations. I first started eating their divine dishes back in the 80’s. I travelled and lived overseas and would often reflect on my favourite dish – the vegetable satay with tofu – no-one but no-one does a satay like Kaninga – and my mouth would water and my eyes would tear up with homesickness. I’ve eaten Kaninga’s takeaways with various friends and through my pregnancies – yes even morning sickness failed to put me off (!) and I’ve eaten at Kaninga’s with my three boys who rate it top knotch. I’ve dined at some of the best restaurants in the world including the Burj Al Arab in Dubai but Kaninga’s is home to me – I have never known a restaurant so reliable, so friendly and so deserved of the five stars I give it and I can only hope Kaninga’s will be around to serve me through a lifetime.
