Newbrighton burger bar aka Mr wongs. There chips are nice, and always friendly service but my partner ordered a chocolate explosion donut and got a jam wrapp with a peppermint chew stuffed down it LOL
For my money, this must be one of the best fish and chip shops in Christchurch. Their speciality is burgers, which are excellent, and try their onion rings – made fresh, fluffy and delicious, and completely addictive. Fish are white, crisp and delicious in a light batter. They have a limited menu of Chinese dishes as well; some, like the won ton soup, and fantastic, others, like the egg foo young are good but not brilliant. Come here for the fish, chips and burgers!
