Would not recommend this cafe to any one at all. If i could give it a 0 rating,i would.Have been told that the owner is a well known Christchurch chef with numerous awards and accolades.Shouted a friend an early lunch at Willows. We both ordered the bacon and eggs on toast,at $19 each. Two over cooked hard eggs and so called bacon on sourdough bread. The bread was very chewy and hard to eat,stale. The bacon was cheap compressed bacon,rasher bacon of some sort should of been used,i would never expect compressed low cost bacon at a cafe that was any good. A side dish of tomato sauce was also with it! Wanted to complain,but the owner who had cooked the meals had done a runner as soon as he could. So rang the owner the next day,he was very rude and then hung up on me when he could not take any more truthful feedback. I really don’t like handing over good money for such a bad return,its like food fraud.
