One of the best Chinese places yet that I have found in Christchurch. I ordered pork and chive dumplings, fried rice, sweet and sour pork and old school wontons!! So goooood!!! Piping hot and just so full of flavour. Will be ordering from there again. Thankyou “China Kitchen”
For 2 dishes it cost $34 and it is honestly the WORST Chinese food I have ever had. The noodles in the chicken chow main were dry and lacked flavour (I had to add oyster sauce to give them flavour) and the chicken fried rice with cashews was dry also and the cashews with rice was an odd combination. For food of this price I would expect it to be brilliant but it was not.
This is the best Chinese restaurant around. Food is consistently good, ingredients fresh and seasonal. We usually get takeaway because it’s always busy in the restaurant (which is a good thing).
The dumplings here are really good.The service and atmosphere are great and it’s cheap!Would definitely go here again, highly recommended for anyone wanting good quality food.
Great food at very reasonable prices. Fast and friendly service. The dumplings are delicious and the garlic chili prawns on rice are the best! Even though this restaurant is out of the way for me as I live a long way from it, I eat here regularly as it is worth the journey.
This is a place where you pay only for delicious food. The atmosphere is no frills, the prices are low, and the food is perfect. We got the dumplings, prawns and spicy beef soup. Would definitely go back again!
Friendly and fast service, ordered sweet and sour chicken takeaway, came with good amount of rice,vegetables and delicious chicken.
