I have been here six times now and have always left happy. I like this restaurant because this is a Chinese restaurant. The restaurant has good service and staff are polite. I really like to eat the Boiled meat, I think this food tasted similar to Chinese. And if we can’t eat it all, they can help you package and take away. Then the Restaurant’s menu has many choices for customers. To sum up, I think all food taste authentic. This is a good restaurant to taste Chinese food.
Rude customer service by one waitress. Took wrong order at first place. The whole mood was ruined after such customer service from her. The food was average.
suggestion / advice for future vegetarians visiting this restaurant –contrary to their claim of serving vegetarian meal(s), there is NOTHING that a vegetarian can eat here. very disheartening and unfortunate! 🙁
Being from Auckland I am spoiled for choice with Chinese food. I went here on a whim and wasn’t disappointed. The service was efficient and the food came quickly. The majority of clientele were Chinese too which is always a good sign.
Alot of choice and reasonable price. We order stir fry pork and it was so soft. The tofu too was very good. Will definitely go there again 🙂
This is probably my favourite Chinese restaurant in Christchurch! I’ve been a regular patron since their old location on Colombo St. and the quality is still great after many years.Their spicy dishes are done very well – I would recommend the Kung Pao Chicken and Fried Lamb on Sizzling Plate especially. I also like their vegetarian dishes, of which there is a decent selection, great for accomodating vegetarian friends. Service is very quick but it can get hectic sometimes when it gets busy.
