Nice coffee and food
Coming to Jamaica Blue as a group of six for breakfast, we were required to push together our own tables and ask for the menus ourselves, in which we were only given two to satisfy the entire group. Four of us got french toast, the other two getting eggs on toast, along with hot drinks and juice. The drinks and meals arrived scattered, one member had their entire order before anyone else even had their drinks. One french toast of our group was forgotten and when it finally arrived was noticeable smaller compared to the other three. The meals themselves were huge portions, none of us were able to finish them. My french toast dish was with delicious thick bread, decorated with generous amounts of strawberries, whipped cream and bacon, all making for a delicious (but most likely really unhealthy!) breakfast meal. Accompanying my french toast, I got a white hot chocolate, which was one of the best I’ve had since seldom places offer those. Overall, Jamaica Blue is a decent place to catch up, and easy to find as it was smack bang in the centre of Riccarton Mall.
