As an Aucklander, I consider myself a world class expert on all things. Particularly flat whites, road rage vocab, and hole in the wall Asian restaurants. This place falls into the latter category. Get the pan fried dumps, and spicy pork with coriander. Don’t expect world class service, atmosphere or to find sweet and sour pork here. But come with an open mind and get some good authentically above average Chinese.

We went to this resturant expecting more from the past reviews but what we found is a tasteless menu that you could be mistaken for a fish and chip shop also the ambiance of the place was a large disappointment.Only BYO they don’t serve wine or beer there. Some members of our group found that out the hard way and were sober through the meal till one of the party returned from the liquor store.But to give it to them the food was bought to the table with extreme speed and the price was very cheap we managed to feed 6 people for under $80.If going to have a meal there get takeaways and enjoy the comfort of your lounge compared to their tasteless interior
Our favourite Chinese food restaurant. The food is lovely, always fresh & tasty. Great value for money. We eat here regularly. Its a great idea to ask the waitress to suggest the dishes – then you get to taste a variety and not just the same favourites. We had a beef chilli dish that was a traditional Chinese dish – our new favourite now!! Thoroughly recommend this place for great Chinese food.
Great chinese food here! Have to ask for a little less oil most times but apart from that, it’s one of my favourite places to go.I recommend their Lamb soup and their Lamb with Coriander dish! Super yum!
I am very hesistant eating chinese in christchurch. But this restaurant – I just ordered a simple chicken fry rice. It was one of the best!!!! Reasonably priced and meat ratio is excellent. Can’t wait to go back! A++ to the chef
Keungs is a fantastic place to eat! Cheap and cheerful would sum it up perfectly. The food is delicious, filling and wait times are short. Great place to bring a large group of friends and the corkage is very cheap! Since trying it a few months ago, myself and my partner have become regulars and the food is always consistently satisfying! Highly recommend!
