I’m surprised the rating is so low! I find it to be an average Korean restaurant overall, but definitely decent out of all the places I’ve tried in Christchurch. Staff are generally friendly but sometimes it’s not very well staffed during the afternoon lull. I like the aesthetics of the wooden furniture but it’s not the most comfortable.I have a few favourite Korean dishes which I generally use to judge Korean restaurants on. I like the mandu, but it’s quite easy to prepare anyway. They do offer more varieties than most other Korean restaurants I’ve seen. Their Kimchi Jjige (kimchi stew) is decent, as is their Dolsot Bibimbap but I prefer it at other places. I generally get the Ojingeo Jeyuk Deopbap (spicy squid and pork) which has a good level of spice and vegetables too.
Great food, great prices, highly recommend
