The inside of the store is set up like a diner, and the food is very average to say the least.Chicken was over cooked and very dry with little dipping sauce, the only thing enjoyable for myself was the spiciness. A solid three. I was feeling a bit ‘peckish’, and decided on Nandos. I ordered to pick up, but someone must have been ‘clucking’ away to the person on the phone, as my medium Flame BBQ’d half chook came out with a hot sticker. Along with the fried chicken livers and some peri peri chips, I wasn’t left ‘scratching’ the box, the food was good, but nothing to ‘crow’ about. Price was reasonable but didn’t leave much ‘scratch’ left over from $25.
This restaurant never fails me! Every time I come here, I always go out tummy-full and happy. 🙂 Peri-peri chips is really good. I love their dishes and staff are friendly. I would definitely recommend this to my friends and people I know.
Went to Nandos Riccarton the other day for lunch. Ordered the classic chicken breast burger for my partner and me. From the time we entered to the time we left, we couldn’t fault the service and the food. The restaurant was clean, the food delicious and the service fantastic !I thoroughly recommend Nandos Riccarton to anyone looking for great value and a healthy option. We’ll be back !!
Ordered The Swiss cheese and caramel onion chicken burger- alas they had no special buns. When I asked for hot sauce I didn’t mean drop the whole patty into a bucket of hot sauce completely overpowering the burger- all I tasted was hot sauce- apart from that- for the price I paid for this burger it was tiny- thin little strips of chicken like it used to be a chicken breast now cut into 3 horizontal slices- really disappointed. Is caramelized another word for burnt because that’s what the onions look like, not that I could taste them over the cup of hot sauce drenched over the patty. Usually I’m not one to complain- but why should I pay top dollar for food and get bottom dollar quality. Apart from that though the service was ok and the atmosphere good. I recommend the chicken ribs there were the highlight and made the fact my burger was well below par not as bad as it could have been. I not going to try Nandos again- lets hope this message gets through.
Excellent atmosphere, the food is punctual and consistent, my wife and I now come here very often (weekly) and have always enjoyed the menu. It is very affordable, only a few dollars more per person than cheap takeaways, yet the experience is a lot better. Appreciate the work you put in Nandos, you have great staff, menu, and atmosphere. See you at lunch time 🙂
I LOVE NANDO’S, I Love the Ribs and the Peri Peri Chips. I have been to Nando’s many times and really enjoy the atmosphere, the staff are great and helpful. The chicken is divine so succulent and tasty. The Portuguese bread is also a favourite. We go to Nando’s for a very reasonable priced night out for dinner. A REALLY ENJOYABLY NIGHT OUT. Thanks to all the staff.
