This was my first experience eating the famous SoYo. As my partner and I entered we were struck with abrasive scent of cleaning product’s, not the most pleasant aroma. Moving forward we selected our flavours, I went for vanilla and mars bar and a selection of textural and colourful topping.Very excited to get stuck in we made our way up stairs to an even more intense smell of cleaning products.First bite of the mars bar gelato which I topped with pretzels was vile, tasted like cheap chocolate powder, then onto the vanilla which I thought would be safe but was like so acidic. Tasted like lactic acid and frozen water. Worst frozen yoghurt ever.
Wow, this is a wonderful way to carve a hole in your wallet! Charging is by the 100g and it soon adds up! They provide a great range of yogurts, toppings, sweets et al. It’s fun for the kids but it is expensive!
great selection of yogurt flavour and lollies/toppings. i LOVE that soyo has the option of sugar-free frozen yogurt in 2 flavours, making a healthier alternative a great option. i do feel that the yogurt (priced by weight) is highly overpriced. nice spacious and clean environment with good seating on the second floor. average service.
Soyo’s dairy free chocolate flavour is so delicious. I’m not usually a fan of chocolate ice cream as it’s not chocolate-y enough but this is so richly chocolate-y without being overly sweet. Staff are always friendly and there is a wide range of toppings available. The up stairs searing area is great if you want to have a catch up away from the business of the Westfield food court. As with most pay-by-weight places I think soyo can be a bit expensive for what you get and it can be easy to spend a lot more money than you think you will. girlinbetween.com
