I didn’t plan on having breakfast out. But pleasantly found myself here. I ordered the Big Breakfast and made a couple of changes with no issues and the offer of substitutions. Both staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was well presented, generous and well cooked. I will be having breakfast here again in the future without a doubt.

I feel it only does okay, because there aren’t many other options of cafes in the area. It’s a greasy spoon with good prices for the basics. If you want a cheap, no frills brekkie in the weekend, then you won’t be disappointed. Just don’t expect good presesntations with all the bells and whistles. Service is okay, but again you get what you pay for. Receives an honest average score, it is what is says on the label.

Situated where the old Ma and Pa’s Cafe was. There is ample parking – street and out the back (entry to the left of the cafe.) This is an American style breakfast diner. They serve a range of hot food with a small cake and pastry cabinet range. I was particularly pleased to find bottomless filter coffee – some days you need three cups to get through the morning newspaper. The fried eggs, bacon and toast at $7.99 is great value. The pricing is a bit odd – it’s $2 more for if you want the eggs poached and no bacon. Honest food and excellent service.
