Seems like people here haven’t had the best experience but my partner and I always have received great customer service. Best Souvlakis in Christchurch. Meats so well seasoned and the lady always gets our order right when we ask for no yogurt and no chilli, and one with hot chilli.
As soon as I walked in the lady behind the counter began laughing. This was my first sign that this was not going to go well. She began staring at me and when I placed my order she was too busy gawking to actually pay attention. I had to repeat my order another 2 times. I told her no yogurt and only hot chilli sauce. The man behind the counter was lovely and created my order. I then took it and left. I opened it and then saw it had mayo and also satay sauce. It was taken back in. She began to argue. She had swapped the yogurt for other sauces. I am allergic to peanuts and am vegan. This was a horrible experience and I then went next door and got a bigger souvlaki for less money. Was better customer service too. I am absolutely appalled at this service.
I ordered a souvlaki on the recommendation of a previous review. Yikes, what a blunder. This ‘thing’ was crazier than a cut snake cast on its back. It seems that they operate to a “everything and the kitchen sink” philosophy. Mine had a deluge of satay AND tomato/sweet chilli AND (maybe?) Tzatziki sauces. This mess might make some kinda post–sativa sense – otherwise I’d stay well clear.
