The potato fritters are massive and were so fresh. The fish burger ingredients were all really fresh but it could have done with some more Lettuce and Mayo as it was quite dry. Beef BBQ & Bacon Burger was Delicious! Fish was yummy, and didn’t have a strong fishy smell like others.
I was excited not to cook tonight and thought yes I found a fish n chip shop that has GF fish. I make my own crumbled GF fish which is delicious but thought it would be nice to get takeaways for a change. Gutted. The chips were ok but the GF batter was horrible. I don’t recommend at all It was grey looking and soggy. They should do GF crumbed fish. Won’t return.
Yes sorry ,went last week and the same problem and also missed including the spring roll ordered. Used to be reliable but falling off I think
This place is the worst fish and chip shop I have been to in Christchurch. Tonight we ordered one large and one medium cod and paid $7.50 and $6.50 for each, respectively. The cod was soggy (after a 3 minute walk home), likely precooked, small and one had a scale. This is the third time we’ve visited and, after two average prior experiences, this is the last straw and we will not be back. On a side note, the Chinese smorgasbord is pretty tasty, albeit overpriced.
Christchurch has an abundance of good takeaway shops and this is just another. Cheap, tasty and quick!
