Nice place to get the coffee, my colleague and I visited here regularly to get some coffee takeaway as our morning tea treat when every one needs some caffeine. The cakes and savories are quite nice as well. Definitely stays as our first choice for a coffee treat 🙂
Regular visitor here after walking Rapaki Track great coffee wonderful breakfast great service often looks busy from the road but we always get a table the eggs and bacon is my favourite with their plum sauce just lifts it to another level
I struggle with this venue on several levels. Certain of the dishes are inspiring and tasty. I’m sympathetic about the continuing roadworks to a small business that deserves better. That said however I never support anybody who purchases a free range & organic fare based business only to increase the prices, reduce portion sizes AND convert to non-organic, non-free-range or ethical ingredients without very clearly advising their client base. I’d suggest trying it for yourself; if you don’t have any of the above expectations from the previous business model then you’ll most likely enjoy the food and the coffee is good.
Sunday morning breakfast, because there are usually foods on the menu that I do not want I ordered exactly the breakfast what I wanted. No problem at all ordered coffee and waited for the breakfast to arrive which came with a smile, presentation and service was excellent in this busy cafe.
Love Fava. Always great service, great coffee and great food. Great to have such a wonderful local cafe. Will keep coming back. Not a lot of cafes with delicious flavosome food like Fava. Keep it up!!!!!!!
We love this cafe. We eat here lots and have done so over the last year and love it everytime. We visit a couple of times a week usually for lunch and sometimes for evening meals. The staff are always friendly, helpful and fun and the food is always great. They do the very best nachos we’ve ever tasted. The food is always tasty and comes out quick. What a great cafe. It’s also great to find a cafe that extends its opening hours.
We often go to Fava for a coffee and lunch and have more recently been there for an evening meal. We always find the service friendly and helpful, even when the staff are incredibly busy, which is often the case. The food is delicious, with lots of options to choose from and always at the same high standard. I haven’t eaten anything there I didn’t enjoy. And the coffee is always good too. I love that there are always healthy options and that the salads are creative and delicious not just a few greens chucked together on a plate. It can get a little noisy at times but other than that it’s a fantastic place to go for coffee and cake, lunch, or a delicious dinner.
