Been here a few times as it’s local. Usually good but daughter and I ordered fries and flat whites(hard to get wrong) The coffees were cold within minutes and the fries when they eventually came were undercooked, soft and full of grease. Didn’t eat them and complained, were given cards for two free coffees for next time however, there will not be a next time.

Went here with a friend for quick takeaway cabinet food and everything about it was revolting! The salted caramel slice literally tasted like someone had put all of the salt in the southern hemisphere into the caramel, and the orange cake was dry, bland, and at a guess probably at least four weeks old. The manager was very rude to me when I complained about the slice – I didn’t get offered anything to replace it, just told that it was salty because it’s a SALTED caramel slice. I would not go back here even if they offered me coffee vouchers and a free puppy. Sort it out Fava Cafe!

Visited Fava for breakfast on a saturday morning. Service was alright upon arrival had to make our order at till rather than order being taken for us at a tabke, which I thought was a bit unnusual however they did seem short on staff. The coffee came out promptly and was very smooth and not bitter/burnt.Food came out very shortly after which was a good waiting time, food on first appearance was great! Especially for the price we felt it was great value for money.French toast was very good apart from the fact I did request for fresh banana not the fried but other than that was good french toast. The big breakfast was also very good and well worth the money! The setting of the cafe is tucked away at the foot of the hill. The cafe has a good layout with adequate outside and inside setting arrangements.Overall, great food good experience would visit again.
