We passed on a walk and we see that the whole building is closed. They are not moved to another side and because people wait if there is some compensation (insurance, governement) , the dont start the restauration works
Seafood platter was awesome. Calamari cooked to perfection. Mussels sweet. Fish fresh. Very good value for money and the service was impeccable. We added the crayfish to make it a perfect night. Thanks guys couldn’t have asked for more .

Just stopped in for lunch. Food was good, beer was good. What more could you want? Not much else to add.
The Adelphi is definitely not a fancy dinner place. Order at the bar and your food is delivered to your table. Small but good quality wine. Really excellent service . Green lip mussels were the best we’ve experienced in NZ. Blue cod was also excellent.
We came here for dinner on a Friday night. Wasn’t too busy and had a table in the window. 2 had steak and 2 had fish. Good size meals and cooked just the way we asked. Good value for a Pub meal.
